GEAR UP Grant

GEAR UP is a national grant that will follow 4,150 of our students and their families for the next seven years, equipping them with the necessary tools for post-secondary readiness. With financial literacy, college and job site visits, and much more, students and families of the classes of 2029 through 2036 will graduate from Jubilee Academies prepared for college, a career, and/or the military. The district has been awarded $23M to support the objectives of the program.

Health Services

Cut down on days missed from work and school because of an illness! Boost your immune system’s fighting power – feed it!

Immune boosters work in many ways. They increase the number of white cells in the immune system army, train them to fight better, and help them form an overall better battle plan. Boosters also help get rid of the substances that drag the body down. Click here to read more about Immune Boosters and other great nutrients!

People of Jubilee Spotlight

Mr. Jermaine Coleman, Jubilee-Highland Park Assistant Principal

Mr. Coleman was recently awarded the Community Service Award from San Antonio’s Mayor Ron Nirenberg alongside his Omega Psi Phi brothers in recognition of his 20 years of continued community service and role in numerous community outreach programs.

When asked about how his experience in the community aligns with his role at Jubilee-Highland Park, he said:

“Just as in education and being a part of the Jubilee family, it has always been about the betterment of our community and our students. As a campus administrator I have been afforded the ability to positively impact not just my campus but the entire school community. It's about growth! Growth of our service, growth of our community and growth of our students.”

Mr. Coleman truly enjoys being of service to our community of San Antonio and the JHP campus. He says his admin team, staff, and students make it worthwhile to come and be a part of the school community everyday. “Knowing that as a team we are making a difference in the lives of not just our students but the entire school community is what matters the most.”
