Students Dive into Marine Education at Sea World

Hands-on learning

Jubilee students recently embarked on an exciting adventure to SeaWorld in San Antonio, Texas. This memorable field trip was designed to be both educational and engaging, providing students with a unique opportunity to explore marine life up close.

During our summer school session, students enjoyed some of their favorite rides while also learning about animal rescue and how animals function, offering a different avenue for learning. Beyond the fun, the visit aimed to give students a deeper understanding of marine conservation. They learned practical ways to care for animals in their daily lives.

The highlight of the trip was the chance to see a variety of marine animals, including turtles, penguins, sea lions, and more. These encounters allowed students to appreciate the beauty and diversity of marine life, further inspiring them to contribute to the protection of these incredible creatures.

When students visited the flamingo exhibit, they were able to see the element of balance in action, discussing how important balance is when it applies to their lives. Balance is a value integrated in the Jubilee Academies’ curriculum. Students enjoyed the trip, stating that this was the best field trip ever!

The SeaWorld field trip was more than just a day out; it was an enriching experience that left a lasting impression on the future leaders of Jubilee Academies.
