Jubilee Academies: Nurturing the Whole Student

At Jubilee Academies Wells Branch, we believe every student has the right to receive a high-quality education in a secure and caring environment. We aim to provide our students with the best possible learning experience, enabling them to reach their full potential. Recently, one of our students, Carmello Jobe, got injured during a physical education class. Coach Mr.Djiba, our nurse, and a staff member provided immediate assistance and support to him and his family.

Carmello injured his leg during a hockey game when he stepped and slipped on a puck. Our team sprang into action, taking precautions to prevent further injury, and stayed with him until help arrived, continuing to support him throughout his recovery.

We understand recovery time is stressful and challenging for the student and their family, so our staff did their best to support Carmello and his family. Jubilee Wells Branch staff, who work closely with Carmello, sent the family a DoorDash gift card on the same night of the injury so they wouldn't have to worry about a meal that evening. Carmello’s basketball teammates signed a basketball and asked their teacher to deliver their well wishes.

At Jubilee Academies Wells Branch, we value more than academic success; we care about our student body and their mental and physical health. We strive to foster a caring and supportive community. When students feel supported and cared for, they are more likely to succeed in and out of the classroom. We are grateful for the opportunity to support students like Carmello and all students every step of the way!
