Keeping Students Safe Against COVID-19
Testing Near You!
San Antonio will have the opportunity to receive Free-COVID At-Home Testing this Saturday, January 29. To find the most up-to-date testing information for your region, use the links below:
Time to Re-Enroll!
Our priority deadline for re-enrollment is February 9! Returning students will not be automatically enrolled and applications should be submitted early to ensure a seat. Following this deadline, seats will be allotted on a first come-first served basis and cannot be guaranteed.
Child Nutrition | Say Cheese!
The Student Nutrition Advisory Council (SNAC) is a brand-new initiative recently launched by the Child Nutrition Program. SNAC provides students with the opportunity to voice their opinions about the school menu, taste test new products and recipes, and more! The Child Nutrition Program hopes that this initiative will increase participation in the school breakfast, lunch, and supper programs, improve the school menus, and get students more involved with nutrition.
If you have any questions about the SNAC program or want your child to participate at their Jubilee campus, send us an email!

Student Support Services
Our Federal Programs Department works tirelessly to ensure the needs of every student is met so that they can be the best they can be, each and every day. Currently, we are serving 60 students throughout the district, providing them with uniforms, school supplies, food, hygiene supplies, etc.
Currently, the team is putting together backpacks filled with school supplies for the second semester. Bags in the RGV area have been distributed and the San Antonio/Austin area will receive theirs next week. The next large distribution will include hygiene kits, socks, books and additional supplies.
As always, we are graciously accepting donations to help support these ongoing efforts. To make a donation or to receive information about available resources, send an email to Claudia Garcia, District Title 1 Liaison.

Determined Destiny Values | JSA Lions Recycle
What better way to live a life of excellence than to give back and help the planet!? These students come together on Thursdays to assist Mrs. Felicia Arias with recycling around the Jubilee-San Antonio campus. Remember, always separate your trash and recyclables! A little bit goes a long way as we pave the way to a healthier planet.
At Jubilee-Wells Branch, 4th grade started "compliment parties" where the students have a goal of getting compliments from teachers and staff on campus for their behavior, walking in a straight line, setting an example for others, keeping a low level in the cafeteria, etc. As they earn compliments, they get a letter to a mystery word. Once the word it complete, students are rewarded with a “Compliment Celebration” As a grade, they earned 5 compliment parties for the first semester!
Extra-Curricular Opportunities | Jubilee ACCESS
Last week at Jubilee-Sendero and Jubilee-Westwood, our students participated in an "I Have A Dream" activity, highlighting the MLK holiday and its significance. The students had many dreams including "pizza being cheaper" and "that it would rain candy.” Some also had more insightful dreams like "to stay at Jubilee forever," "to make better grades," "to have joy and happiness," and "to protect and save the Earth."
