Class of 2022 Graduate Spotlight

The following letter is from one of our very own Jubilee Titans at Jubilee-Brownsville. Andrea De La Rosa will be graduating this coming Spring, as part of our 2022 Class! She has been accepted to 24 universities, thus far, and has received over $740,000 in scholarship awards.

Throughout my 11 years here, Jubilee has provided me with extraordinary opportunities that I would not have gotten anywhere else.
— Andrea De La Rosa

Hi, my name is Andrea de la Rosa, I am a senior graduating this spring with the Class of 2022, and this is my 11th year here with Jubilee. Throughout my 11 years here, Jubilee has provided me with extraordinary opportunities that I would not have gotten anywhere else. Including the opportunity to work for the school district, in a month-long Marketing internship this past summer, and the opportunity to graduate from high school with my general studies associate degree from Texas Southmost College. During my senior year, I am currently serving as the National Honor Society President, Senior Class President, and Student Council parliamentarian.

The exceptional Ms. Cinthia Baleon has done an extraordinary job guiding me and my fellow peers on our transition from high school to college. I look forward to attending university this fall where I plan to major in Communications with a minor in Business Marketing. As my Jubilee journey ends this last semester, I want to thank the outstanding teachers, staff, and administration who have been a part of my growth to the person I will walk out of Jubilee.
