Homeland Security and Bexar County Sheriff's Office Praise Jubilee Lake View University Prep's Safety Policies and Procedures

Jubilee Lake View University Prep collaborated with Homeland Security and the Bexar County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) by providing them with a facility to train in safety and security. Classroom instruction remained uninterrupted, and community leaders were able to benefit from our facility. 

Officers met with campus and district personnel to learn about our district and campus safety policies and protocols. Afterward, officers toured the campus and conducted an informal security audit, including speaking with employees to survey their knowledge of what to do in case of a critical incident. 

Upon completion, all teams reconvened and debriefed. While on their visit, officers admired our campus safety measures and procedures. Senior Director of Student Services and head of security protocol, Ms. Centeno, reports that an officer outwardly expressed, "I wish we could replicate this campus across the nation."
