Instructional Delivery Overview
Jubilee Academies looks forward to serving our students and families for the 2021-2022 school year. Our district is committed to providing a high-quality education and academic experiences with the inclusion of social and emotional support that will help all students to thrive.
In-Person Learning Expectations
We are prepared and ready to serve our students through in-person, face-to-face instruction for the 2021-2022 school year. In addition to our highly qualified instructional staff, each of our campuses has a Health Care Assistant on staff to provide researched-based, high-quality medical care to students. Increased health and safety protocols will be implemented to aid in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. These protocols include, but are not limited to, heightened cleaning and disinfectant schedules, hand-washing schedules and hand-sanitizer stations.
In-Person Model
Students will attend school on a regular instructional schedule and will engage in face-to-face learning on campus all day, every day.
Instruction will be provided by highly qualified Jubilee Academies teachers.
Teachers will follow District curriculum, unit sequencing, and pacing of instruction aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills.
Teachers will monitor students and refer them to the nurse if symptoms are present.
Desks or tables will be socially distanced as much as instructionally possible.
Student movement may be staggered to limit the number of people in various areas during transitions.
Alcohol-based hand sanitizer will be readily available, and thorough hand washing will be practiced.
Student Social and Emotional Supports
Jubilee Counseling Services staff, consisting of school counselors and school social workers, are dedicated to supporting the social and emotional wellbeing of all students. Counseling programs and resources will be available at each campus to assist students with removing social, emotional, and economic barriers that may impede student achievement.
