The end of the 2020-21 school year not only means Summer vacation, but also Summer programming! Check out all the fun activities available to families over the next few months to keep your student engaged and learning.
What is Summer Slide and how does it affect my student?
Summer break is typically a time for kids to kick back, indulge in a little extra screen time, play outside, and embrace the kind of freedom that only comes with being young and having zero responsibilities. However, all of this free time can lead to the summer slide, a regression in academic proficiency due to summer break, and experts warn it is hindering kids’ progress when they head back to school. Jubilee Summer Reading Program:
“Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader!”
In an effort to increase student engagement with reading, we are introducing a summer reading program for students at Jubilee. Research shows summer reading can help support skill gains and decrease gaps or loss of learning. Students who are excited about reading will also have the opportunity to participate in a Fall Reading Club during the 2021-2022 school year.

Jubilee Jumpstart: Space Exploration!
Students in grades 1st - 8th are invited to join us for an “Out of this World” program! Scheduled for take off Jul 26th, students will get an exciting jumpstart on the 2021-22 school year.

You’ve heard of Flat Stanley, now meet Flat Jubil-EE, our jet-setting robot friend! He is excited to join your family on all your Summer adventures while also helping your students stay in contact with friends! Snap a picture with Jubil-EE and tag #JubileeOnVacation to be highlighted on Facebook and Instagram throughout the Summer. Don’t have social media? Email your pictures to our marketing team!
At the end of the Summer, all submissions will be entered into a raffle for a Google Chromebook! Either print Flat Jubil-EE or access him digitally here.
