During the COVID-19 Pandemic, please check with your provider to see if they are offering vaccinations, as some have suspended these services, while others continue to offer them. Many local supermarkets, pharmacies, and urgent care are still immunizing patients.

If you are having issues getting your student's vaccinations, please email your contact your campus health staff as soon as possible. We understand these are unusual times and want to work with families but are required to uphold Texas immunization laws which are still in effect.
DSHS is still processing vaccine exemption requests for reasons of conscience, valid for 2 years, at this time with slightly extended processing times, so plan ahead if your renewal time is approaching. Vaccination exemptions for medical reasons are valid for one year unless lifetime exemption is specified by your physician.
Failure to have your child immunized may result in the student being administratively withdrawn from the school and placed on a waiting list if a seat is not available.
