Accountability Ratings
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is responsible for assessing students' understanding of each grade's curriculum and determining if they are ready for the next grade. Additionally, it evaluates how well a school prepares its students for post-high school success, whether it's in college, the workforce, or the military.
The agency has established a system that allows them to evaluate the academic performance of Texas public schools and assign them a letter grade (A - F) based on their performance. The Campus Report Cards and TEA Federal Report Card for Texas Public Schools 2018-2019 are some of the tools used to measure the academic progress of schools and districts in Texas.
