What are the DDV Coins?

The Jubilee Academies Determined Destiny Values, or DDV, coins have been circulating since 2020, marking Jubilee Academies' 20th anniversary. The coins were designed and founded by none other than our CEO, Thomas Koger. Though the distribution came to a short halt during COVID-19 closures, they launched back strong once in-person lessons resumed. Each coin represents a founding pillar of Jubilee Academies. Leadership, Character, and Excellence define who we are as a district and what we instill in our students to follow daily.

How can students obtain DDV coins?

Every Jubilee Academies campus staff member has received DDV coins for distribution. When a staff member or teacher witnesses students exhibit leadership, character, or excellence, they are recognized by being awarded with a coin. Jubilee staff is encouraged to distribute as many coins as possible.

Do the DDV coins have a monetary value?

No, currently, the coins do not possess any monetary value. Plans for the coins, however, include creating a mock economy where students can exchange their DDV coins for pens, pencils, Jubilee merchandise, and other school-related items. This future concept will build entrepreneurial skills and financial literacy for students.

Mr. Thomas Koger encourages all students to continue striving for excellence and hopes to see every student receive one -- if not all three -- coins by displaying our three trait pillars.
